A Slice A Day #145 – The Week That Was in Content Marketing (Alexandra Samuel, Braveen Kumar, Mark Walker)
It’s the start to another week and it’s this week’s ‘The Week That Was in Content Marketing’ podcast. Our brief look back at last week’s podcasts, our guests and their featured articles.
We began the week with Alexandra Samuel, Technology researcher, writer, strategist and author who recently wrote an article for Harvard Business Review’s web site titled ‘How Bots Took Over Twitter’.
It’s a piece that highlights how the social platform has shifted as well as the way people use it. And interestingly enough, people who share Alex’s content aren’t reading what they share.
Braveen Kumar, a Content Marketer and Editor at Uberflip recently wrote an article for the company blog titled ‘5 Psychological Hacks for High-Impact Content Marketing’.
It’s a cool psychological look at the way people consume and share content. He talks about key points within a written or printed piece of content where your best stuff needs to stand out in order to grab someone’s attention.
Finally we wrapped up the week with a REWIND episode where we spoke with Mark Walker. Mark is Head of Content Marketing for Eventbrite UK. He penned an article for Entrepreneur.com titled ‘8 Ways to Scale a One-Person Content Team’.
Mark is a one-person content producing team who’s article highlights how he does it, ideas for you if you’re a one-person content shop and ways to be efficient at it.
It’s ‘The Week It Was in Content Marketing’; a chance for you to read an article or listen to a podcast from last week that you might have missed.
