It was a big week in the land of Google as they announced the introduction of Google My Business (GMB); GMB is now the one-stop place where local businesses can manage their Google presence and also where they can update Google Maps, search, Google+, photos and a whole lot more, all from one easy-to-use dashboard.

Once you verify your business on GMB you can work on getting found much easier on Google with local search, you can track your Google+ page’s metrics and insights so you know who is visiting and interacting with your page and know where people are coming from to check out your business.
Linda Buquet from Catalyst Marketing is a Google Local Specialist and her post from last week is filled with screen shots and other great information regarding GMB and the link to that page is here:
Search Engine Roundtable also had a nice page dedicated to the rollout of GMB this past week:
Of course you can now update your Google presence with the new GMB app for Android with an iOS version coming very soon.
