Barry and Mark HH Recap #4 – Show Notes

This week our HH recap was recorded at the new location of Red, Wine and Brew in Mentor, just off of Mentor Ave on Old Johnny Cake Ridge Rd. in Mentor. A beautiful facility that features over 6,000 wines, 2000 craft beers, premium cigars and great food.

Shout out and many thanks to owner Sam Shah, Marketing Director John Kish and the entire staff for their hospitality and their graciousness for hosting and allowing us to record this week’s HH Recap.

In this HH recap we talked about the changes that Facebook has made to what appears and what doesn’t appear in people’s news feeds and in relation to businesses organic reach declining. We also talked about what businesses can do to get their content featured back onto more people’s news feeds in the future.
Here is a link to a great article that Amy Porterfield, Facebook expert, wrote a couple of weeks ago and her advice on what businesses can do to increase their reach.

Another nice article that describes exactly how Facebook organic reach has declined comes from Eileen Brown at ZDNet.com.

And finally Robert Rose of Cleveland’s own Content Marketing Institute had a nice article on what he sees Facebook becoming for larger companies who use Facebook as one of the marketing strategies:
For Brands, Facebook Is Now a Content Publisher — Not a Community.
